Extension movement
Starting position:Sit on a seat; with thigh and knee over the empty space.
Movement:Make flexion and extension movements of the knee trying for complete extension:
1.Lift your leg into a horizontal position (maximum extension) without moving your thigh from the seat and return your foot to a vertical position
2.Lower the leg
Number of repetitions:Repeat this movement 15 times.
Extension movement
Starting position:Sit on a seat; with thigh and knee over the empty space.
Movement:1.Lift your leg into a horizontal position (maximum extension) without moving your thigh from the seat
2.Point your foot and push your leg. 3.Hold this position for a minimum of 5 seconds
Number of repetitions:Repeat this movement 15 times.
Abduction movement
Starting position:Sit on a seat; with thigh and knee over the empty space.
Movement:1.Bend your leg at the hip, raise your knee into a vertical position
2.Bend your knee and bring your heel back to your buttocks
3.Stretch your leg out vertically
Number of repetitions:Repeat this movement 15 times.
